Prof. Marcia Devlin
Adjunct Professor, Victoria University
Presentation title: Personal Sustainability in Challenging Times: Ideas to Build Grit, Resilience and Optimism
Professor Marcia Devlin is an internationally recognised expert in education and equity. In October, 2021, she was appointed inaugural Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, a new statutory authority associated with the Victorian state government. Previously, Marcia had a 30-year tertiary education career, commencing in student services as a language and learning advisor, before moving into learning and teaching leadership roles and then executive leadership positions. Marcia has served as Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Victoria University; Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education at RMIT University; and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Learning and Quality at Federation University Australia. She is also a registered psychologist with a keen interest in mental health, resilience and wellbeing.
Prof. Jan Thomas
Vice Chancellor, Massey University
Presentation title: Students as Partners: How Massey University is Leaning into our Collective Future 
Professor Jan Thomas has served as Vice-Chancellor of Massey University in New Zealand from 2017. Prior to this Professor Thomas served as Vice-Chancellor and President at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia for five years. She has held various senior executive positions at Murdoch University and the University of Notre Dame Australia from 2003.Professor Thomas has been on the Board of numerous organisations in Australia, notably chairing the Library Board of Queensland, and as a board member and trustee of Mercy Care Ltd in Australia. She is currently a member of the Hong Kong University Grants Committee, chairs the Quality Assurance Council for UGC and Chair of Universities New Zealand

Jennifer Hamilton is the first ever Executive Director of the Canadian Association of College & University Student Services. CACUSS is a non-profit association with over 1400 members in Canada. Jennifer has served in this staff leadership role of Canada’s student affairs association since 2011. Prior to joining CACUSS, she worked as a student affairs professional for 15 years in the areas of leadership development and student life, career services, academic advising, orientation programs and international student services. She worked at OCAD University, University of Toronto and Portland State University.
Mr. Nic Streatfield
Vice Chair Professional Development, AMOSSHE (The Student Services Organisation)
Nic is the Vice Chair (Professional Development) at AMOSSHE the UK’s Student Service Organisation. A psychotherapist by training Nic has worked in university student support for nearly twenty years. Nic is one of twelve University Mental Health Charter assessors, a co-author of ‘Getting to Grips with Safeguarding; A guide for Governors’ (Advance HE, 2018) and has chapters published in ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing in H.E. A practical guide’ (Sage, 2019) and ‘Preventing and Responding to Student Suicide’ (Jessica Kingsley, Nov 2021). Nic has presented at various conferences both in the UK and Canada.
Lisa Bardill Moscaritolo

Lisa Bardill Moscaritolo, Ph.D., is the Vice Provost for Student Life at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Lisa teaches graduate classes in management and leadership for Purdue Global University. She is a founding member and secretary-general for the International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS) and was instrumental in creating the Global Summit for Student Affairs and Services in its 6th reiteration. Lisa’s research and writing interests are in international student affairs and services
