CALL FOR ABSTRACTS OPEN

In 2023 ANZSSA is excited to announce our 28th ANZSSA Conference will return to a face-to-face format held at the spectacular new Peter Shergold Building on the Parramatta Campus, Western Sydney University from Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th October.

Over the past 3 years our annual conference themes have focused on re-setting and moving forward in our thinking and practice in student services, deepening our understanding of the diverse needs of all students, challenging ourselves to listen more closely to and authentically partnering with students and communities, and adapting our ways of working to deliver contemporary services and supports to better respond to the needs and enable the academic success of our students.

This year, we invite our members and networks to participate in continuing these important conversations, share their learnings, exchange ideas, and showcase evolving practices.  ANZSSA invites you to submit a presentation under one of the broad thematic areas of focus:

Health, wellbeing, and safety

Inclusivity, diversity, and equity

Engagement and Partnerships

Building Capability, Tools, and Resources

All submissions will be reviewed by the Organising Committee for relevance, presentation style and adaptability, as part of the selection process. The Organising Committee reserve the right to reject any presentation it does not feel meets the criteria.  In submitting your proposal, should your proposal be selected, you consent to your presentation being published on the ANZSSA website for ANZSSA members to access post the event and to the abstract being reviewed by the JANZSSA editorial board for suitability to be developed as a journal submission.

Presenters will be advised of acceptance/rejection of their submission by Thursday 10 August 2023.  Multiple presentation submissions per person will be accepted.
