At this year’s ANZSSA Annual Conference, we were proud to announce three exceptional recipients of Life Membership:

• Karen Davis, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand

• Amy Heise, Massey University, New Zealand, and

• Stephanie Taylor, Bond University, Australia.

Earlier this year, the ANZSSA Executive formalised the criteria for Life Membership to guide our decision-making. These criteria reflect the values and impact we celebrate:

• Outstanding and Sustained Contribution to the Sector: Recognising individuals who have shaped student services through leadership, innovation, and advocacy.

• Service to ANZSSA: Honouring those who have strengthened our community through governance, mentoring, and active participation.

• Embodiment of ANZSSA Values: Celebrating members who model collaboration, respect, inclusion, and sustainable impact — the principles at the heart of our work.
